Organisms and Adaptation

Many animals in the temperate forest are mammals, however there are many other varieties as well. Animals that can be found in the temperate forest are deer, elk, bison, varieties of birds, snakes, squirrels, bears, bobcats, timber wolves, and many more. Elk and bison have been nearly hunted to extinction. Adaptations these animals have in order to survive in their biomes are hibernation, food storage, and migration.
